This January after some careful consideration we'd like to introduce our customers to our first ever Sensory Toy Of The Month! Each month we will be looking at our chosen sensory toy and reviewing it with our tried and tested honest feedback, as well as it’s benefits and uses.
After an extremely busy Christmas period it was clear that our best selling sensory toy this month needed to be the Pick N Peel Stone. Also known as a 'Picky Pumice' or 'Pick a Brick'. These stones are extremely unique as they're made from real volcanic rock and once the special coloured resin is applied, the crater like surfaces make picking and peeling super fun!
Our Pick N Peel Stones come fully kitted out with their own:
- picker tool;
- two bottles of coloured resin;
- two paint brushes;
- a pouch to keep everything in; and
- two mystery fidget toys with every order!
Whilst our Pick N Peel Stones will come with the resin applied for you already, once you've picked and peeled it off it is extremely easy to reapply again. All you have to do is take the paint brushes provided, apply it to one side, allow it to dry, then repeat these steps on the other side of the stone (each side should take approx. a few hours to dry). Alternatively, you can use a hairdryer to speed the process up, which can complete the drying process in minutes! Once complete you can use your picker tool to pick and peel the bright coloured resin from the holes of the rock once again.
When we tried these Pick N Peel Stones out ourselves we would often compare the satisfaction you gain from using them to when you’d cover your hands in pvc glue as a kid, super therapeutic and fun!
