We are driven by helping and supporting children and adults in our communities through our sensory resources. We currently provide over 75 different sensory toy based products for both commercial and personal use.
Founded by Zachary Hirst in March 2020, Sensory Toys is a free sensory equipment hire service for children with additional needs. These specialist toys and equipment are extremely expensive and often too expensive for most families, making it hard to meet the needs of their children. Not only this, but many play centres and other facilities are frequently unequipped to accommodate children with additional needs, resulting in them being excluded; unable to take part and missing out on vital development play and socialising.
The equipment hire is a great opportunity for individuals to obtain sensory toys/equipment in a home environment, for up to a week. We provide four custom packages per hire; small soft play variety, large soft play variety, small soft play variety with ball pool, large soft play variety with ball pool. Our packages are subject to availability, but we will always do our best to leave nobody disappointed.
Our online toy shop has a number of different products that you can browse through, from various fidgets to visually stimulating toys, there is something for everyone. We have made sure to base our sensory toys around the development of skills, especially those with additional needs.
